Friday night, I had sushi with an old coworker of mine. It was nice to catch up and eat some yummy food. Thanks Heather! Saturday, I slept in till around 11:30. It was heaven. I then dragged my butt out of bed and went and got a pedicure. It was so relaxing. While at the nail salon, I did see an elderly gentlemen, who was probably in his 80's, getting a manicure. Totally, awesome!
I then headed over to Border's to pick up the first book for the Sookie Stackhouse series and I ended up leaving with the set because it came out to be cheaper and I got a $10.00 gift card. Yep I know, I probably should not have bought them all, considering I didn't even know if I would like series. I couldn't help myself though, especially when it comes to a good deal. And it wasn't like the series wasn't highly recommended.So, I went home and was going to start the series, but ended up watching Twilight again, ha ha! I passed out on the sofa towards the end of the movie. On sunday, I did end up reading the first book, Dead until Dark and I really enjoyed it! Not anywhere near as good as the Twilight series, but I could not put it down. I ended up reading all of the first book last night.
So all in all, it was a good weekend. This morning, I woke up feeling rested and ready to take on the week. I also can't wait to see the hubby!

I think I need a weekend like that. I take that back. I KNOW I need a weekend like that! Although, I wouldn't be able to sleep in until 11:30---no matter how hard I tried! Its funny, Troy, Jackson and I went on a walk around 9:30 and were going to knock on your door to see if you wanted to join us, but we both thought that you might be sleeping in! I'm glad we didn't knock!
You are going to love these books. I am on book ....4.... I think (Dead to the World). I also just started watching the Trueblood season 1 last night. Hope you guys are doing well.
I need to get started on the 2nd book!
