I had my appointment with the Perinatologist today and it went really well! I liked Dr B. a lot as he was very thorough and personable. He does not feel that the anti M antibody will be issue. He said that in the past 25 years of his practice he has not seen it transfer to the baby! Yay! But... he does want me to continue seeing him for monitoring. I will still see my OB and will also see Dr B. every 6 weeks starting at 20 weeks. Fun times! I guess one good thing out of all of it, is that we will get to see the baby more often.
His office also did the NT scan and first trimester genetic screening. Everything came back great. Here is a picture of the wee little one!
He/she waved at us and we were able to see 5 fingers on one hand! The ultrasound tech wouldn't even take guess at the gender. :( I don't know when my OB has her patients do the big ultrasound, but Dr B. said he would for sure tell us what the gender is when we come back and see him in March.
So all in all it was a good appointment!

so glad to hear things are going well, Robyn! Happy and healthy remaining months to you! :o)
How precious! I love seeing little baby ultrasounds. What a blessing! Where are you delivering?
We haven't decided yet. My dr. delivers at either Parkview or Community. How about you?
Glad to hear all went well.
That's great news that everything seems to be going well. This is such an exciting time in ones life. :)
I'm so glad to hear the appointment went well! I'm glad to hear they will be monitoring too. Its always nice to know you are being taken care of. I can't wait to meet this little baby! Jackson is very excited too. We showed him the U/S pic last night and I explained to him that this is a picture of the "baby in Aunt Robyn's belly, just like Madelyn was in Mommy's belly." He smiled and said, "Ooooh!" I think he may get it!
Yay Robyn! I'm so glad all is well. What an awesome ultrasound pic! Thanks for sharing :)
