An Explanation
I have become completely engrossed in the Twilight series and I have probably spent each every waking moment, either reading the books or thinking about them. I have become the crazed fanatic, I feared I would become if I started reading the series. I know my weakness for romance novels and this is why I shied away from them. But, it was inevitable and I finally broke down and started reading them.
Thus, this is the reason there has been silence from me and not a blog post from me for a long, long time. There should have been lots of blog posting, as I had my birthday about a week ago and it was also our 2nd anniversary, but nope I have been in some sort of dream like world, always thinking about Bella and Edward. Sigh...
I am almost done with Breaking Dawn and I am sad. I don't want it to end. I am already contemplating reading them all over again. My hope is to wait awhile before doing this, so I can catch up some blog posting, cleaning and all the other things I have been severely neglecting. So, if you don't hear me for another couple of days, you now know why. I swear I will be back and will recap the last few weeks! :)

In Limbo
Yep, so the rumor was right. David's department is closing. Now, this doesn't necessarily mean he is going to be affected, but he could. We don't really know.
Long story short, the his job does not exactly fall under the department he is placed in. He has tons of work right now, unlike everyone else in his department. He spoke with one of the VP's after the meeting and they know who he is and his name has come up several times the last week, but don't have any real answer as to what is going on. It seems like they don't know what to do with him. Or at least, they don't know what to do with his position.
To me the answer seems pretty easy, just move the position to a different department. But, you know how business politics is, nothing is ever that simple. So no real news right now. It could be a couple of weeks or months, till we know anything. I guess until then, we are in a state of limbo.
Thanks for all your comments and prayers!

Feeling Nervous
The hubby has a meeting today at 9:00 and his company never calls meetings. Rumor is that they will be closing the department. :(

A Day Early
So, today is my Friday! I am super excited to have a three day weekend. It's been awhile since I have had an extra day off. Come to think about it, the last time I had an extra day was actually when I switched jobs. I took a week off in between and that was back in January! So, needless to say I am excited!
Some random thoughts:
~ I just went outside to water the plants and I noticed my tomato plant from last summer (which never produced anything) has about 6 or 7 green tomatoes on it! For once, I am glad we were lazy and didn't clean up the backyard, as I probably would have pulled it out.
~ It looks like my jalapeno plant is going to start blooming again, so maybe we will be lucky and it will produce two years in a row.
~ The weather has been cool again, when it's April and supposed to be nice out.
~ I received my speeding ticket in the mail today. That's like $212.00 down the drain. Then to top it off, they charge you $54.00 to take traffic school. I wasn't happy when I opened that letter!
~ We did breakfast for dinner tonight. I made the hubby waffles and myself Eggs Benedict. This was my first try at making a Hollandaise sauce and I think it came pretty darn good!
~ My birthday is coming up next Friday and our 2nd wedding anniversary is a couple of days after. I can't believe we have been married for almost 2 years!
Anyways, that's enough for tonight. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Product Rave
So, thanks to Cari over at Le Jeune Nest, I found a new face wash that I love. She blogged about it a little awhile ago and it sounded great. I have been on a hunt for awhile now for a face wash that I liked, so when I read her rave, I figured I would give it a try.
The Pink Grapefruit scent smells so good! Due to the fact that I get up at the butt crack of dawn for work, 5:30 am to precise, I normally stand in front of the mirror for awhile, in a daze. Sometimes for awhile... well more like a long time most days. So, I need something to wake me up and this totally does it!
The hubby on the other hand, does not like it so much. Since, I get up so early and he is still sleeping, he normally calls me when he on his way to work. Our morning conversation is basically a hello, how did you sleep last night, what do you have going on at work. Today though our convo goes like this:
D: So, I tried your new face wash this morning.
R: Oh, really? What did you think of it? (I was surprised he tried it, as it is a girly scent)
D: It smells like cat pee.
R: What? No, it doesn't! It's smells good, very refreshing!
D: Didn't it make your face smell like cat pee afterwards?
R: Ummm, noooo.
Hmmph.. Boys! Well, at least I won't have to share, since he doesn't like it!
Thanks Cari for the rec!

Cats
Ya, Ya, Ya, I know I haven't posted in awhile. I have quite
of few things to update you all on, like the garden and our recent camping trip. We were so very busy all week. I didn't have a chance clean, let alone blog. So, this is a quick post.
Anyways this evening, I was trying to learn how to use our nice fancy camera. What good is it to own one, if you don't know how to use it? I was using Cali as my model, which she didn't like particularly, as the flash kept blinding her, the poor thing! She soon got tired of me taking pictures of her and decided she wanted to play.
I was watching her play with this tattered toy, which didn't even resemble what it used to look like. I recently bought her a new mouse and she loved it the moment she laid eyes on it. I realized that I haven't seen her play with it in a while. I started looking for it and lone behold it was under the sofa, where she couldn't reach it.
After peering under the sofa, I soon discovered there where a ton of toys, along with items the kitties use as toys under there. I fished them all out. Their little stash consisted of 8 mice, a water bottle cap, half an eraser, a golf ball and an old school film container. Here is a picture of everything.
(Note: this picture was taken with my horrible cell phone camera and not the good camera, as I have no clue where the cord is to transfer photos to the computer.)
Btw Cali, I didn't see the feather duster under the sofa. I would really appreciate it, if you would show me where you hid it as I kinda need it. I don't feel like buying a new one.
Thanks, Mom.
