It's been awhile.
Where to even start... I have no clue. There is so much I need to blog about. I had dinner with a friend last night and she commented about how she still has not seen photos of my niece yet. Yep that's right, I am a bad aunt and haven't even blogged about little Madelyn or even Sacramento. I am about 3 months behind.
I need to get my butt in gear and blog more. Especially with Nablopomo coming up in November. Wait, Nov is like 6 days away. Ack! How am I supposed to blog everyday if I can't even blog once a week? It's been almost a month since I last posted anything.
For such a huge update, bullet points work the best, so here you go!
~ Work is slowing down. Not as much overtime needed. I have been able to catch up a little bit. Soo happy!
~ Been spending more time with girls, including going out to dinner, the movies, Disneyland and Color Me Mine trips.
~ Finally went and got a library card. Why did it take me so long to do so?
~ Speaking of books, I am working on the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon. I can't even remember if I have blogged about it or not which is sad. But anyways, it's an awesome series! I am currently on the 5th book. "It's always been forever for me, Sassenach." ::sigh:: Soo, good!
~ Also, I just finished, "The Luxe" by Ana Godbersen. From what I have heard from other readers, it's supposed to be an old fashioned version of Gossip Girl set in 1899, New York. Having never watched the series I can't really say though. Anyways, I didn't luuve it, but it was really good. It's a quick and easy read.
~ Waiting for me at the library, on hold are: "The Story of Lucy Gault", by William Trevor, "Never Let Me Go", by Kazuo Ishiguro and "A Great and Terrible Beauty", by Libba Bray. I will be going and picking those up today after work!
~ Coming up, we a lot going on. I know just this week we have a pumpkin carving party on Friday. I am supposed to bring my pumpkin cheesecake so there will be baking. Halloween lunch here at work. Handing out candy with Jenni on Saturday. I normally do not dress up for Halloween. It does not happen. I am anti costumes. I am contemplating for Halloween and for passing out candy I might and I emphasize the word might. I "might" wear black and cats ears. That is the farthest I will go to dress up for Halloween. I would only doing it for the kids. Not because I really want too.
~ Finally, I am soooo looking forward to the time change this weekend. I really hate driving to work and it being pitch black out still. It should be outlawed.
Whew, that was long! If you're still reading this I <3 you!
