Being sick is no fun. I haven't posted anything since Monday, because we unfortunately came down with the stomach flu. I am feeling a lot better and went to work today. The hubby on the other hand, was still not feeling well this morning. I really can't remember the last time I was that sick. I seriously thought it was never going to end. But thankfully, we are finally getting over it!
On a positive note, we had a really good weekend. The wine tasting party was a lot of fun. I made my pasta salad and it came out really good. I didn't follow a recipe, but just threw in tomato, cucumber, red onion, feta, salami, Kalamata olives, cilantro, and TJ's balsamic dressing. Oh and of course the pasta!
The wine that got to most votes was Relax. It was also my favorite out of all of them. You can find it at Stater Brother's for $9.99! There was a lot of other really great food, including some good curry chicken. I was really surprised at how well the Rieslings went with the spicy Asian food. I really feel like I am learning a lot about wine.
Sunday, after church we headed over to Fresh & Easy and picked up some groceries, along with some pretty yellow mums and a pumpkin for the front steps. I put up the fall wreath on the front door as well. I still have some more fall decorating that I want to do as well, before I am done.
Since, the weather was very fall like all weekend, I made Chili and Mexican Corn Bread for dinner. Both were great and hopefully I will post recipes sometime this week. Yell at me if I forget!
So that's the update with what is going on with us.

I am going to have to try that wine, thanks for the rec.
I am glad your pasta salad turned out good.
Sorry to hear that you've been so sick, but at least you are feeling better today. :) I love wine, so I'm going to have to try and look for that Relax one at SB's. :D
Sorry you were sick, but glad you had a nice weekend. They are building a Fresh & Easy just down the street from my house. I've been interested to see what it will have.
