This means one thing in the blog world: NaBloPoMo! I am sure some of you thought, "What the heck is NaBloPoMo?" Well NaBloPoMo stands for National Blog Posting Month. One post for every day of the month. This will be my second year doing NaBloPoMo. Last year, I was quite proud of myself for completing it and made it a goal to do it again this year. Hopefully, you will be reading a lot more about what's going on with us this month!
I don't want to my first post of the month to be only about NaBloPoMo. So, other than NaBloPoMo starting, today was also the time change. Now, I know a lot of people were not looking forward to it. In the past, I never did. But, in the last couple of years I have changed my mind.
Here is my reasoning. I am not a morning person at all. Never will be. Most people know this and are always surprised to find out that I chose to start work at the butt crack of dawn. Well, there are many benefits to starting at 7:00 am. I hit less traffic in the mornings, which when you already drive 40 min to work, it would seriously suck if it was even longer! Also, after work I feel like I actually have time left in the day to do things, like go grocery shopping and cook dinner.
Disadvantages include waking up at 5:00 am. Ugh! This should be outlawed! Another disadvantage is that in the fall and early spring it means leaving for work when it is still completely dark out. This is the reason why I am excited about the time change. Tomorrow morning when I walk out my front door and it will be semi light out. I am very excited about this and this is why I love the time change!
There is one thing I admit that I will miss and that is: pulling into work and seeing this sunrise:
So one post down, only 29 more! I would love to know if any of you are doing NaBloPoMo. Let me know and we can keep each other motivated!

I feel the same way about the time change.
It was so nice not to drive here in the dark this morning, I was dozing off a few times last week. Eek.
